Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@jrney.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

When creating an account, you must accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Rules, and the AI processing notice that allows JRNEY to process resume content through AI providers to deliver audits, optimization, and interview coaching.

Cookie Rules. JRNEY uses essential cookies for authentication, security, and core account functionality. We may also use analytics cookies to understand product usage and improve user flows where permitted by law. For visitors in regions that require prior consent, optional analytics cookies are controlled by the cookie prompt before registration. By creating an account, you confirm that you accept these Cookie Rules for your account use of the Service. You can change browser-level cookie settings at any time or contact support@jrney.ai for help with analytics preference changes.

JRNEY provides AI-assisted resume building, auditing, optimization, and interview coaching tools. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or as indicated at checkout).
• All payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT on our behalf. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's terms of sale in addition to these Terms.
• All fees are displayed in your local currency at checkout as determined by Paddle.
• You authorize Paddle to charge the payment method on file for recurring billing.
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect for existing subscribers.

The free tier offers limited functionality as described on the pricing page. Free-tier features may change at any time. Credits or one-time passes expire as stated at the time of purchase.

The Service includes an audit step that identifies issues in your resume and shows you a detailed preview of what will be changed beforeyou initiate any paid action. By clicking "Optimize" (or the equivalent action), you:

• Acknowledge that you have reviewed the audit results and understand the scope of the AI optimization.
• Expressly request that the digital service be performed immediately.
• Acknowledge that once the optimization is delivered, the service is fully performed and your right of withdrawal no longer applies.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Full refund details are in our Refund Policy.

• Your content.You retain full ownership of the resumes, text, and data you upload or create ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
• AI output. Content generated by our AI tools is provided for your personal, non-exclusive use. We do not claim ownership of AI-generated output.
• No training on your data. We do not use your User Content to train our AI models or share it with third parties for model training purposes.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to generate false or misleading credentials.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Create accounts through automated means or operate multiple free accounts to circumvent limits.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any part of the Service without written consent.

All rights, title, and interest in the Service — including design, code, models, branding, and documentation — are owned by JRNEY or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or brand assets.

The Service may integrate with third-party providers (payment processors, AI APIs, analytics). Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or practices.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any specific purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JRNEY's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JRNEY and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
