Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@jrney.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

When creating an account, you must accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Rules, and the AI processing notice that allows JRNEY to process resume content through AI providers to deliver audits, optimization, and interview coaching.

Cookie Rules. JRNEY uses essential cookies for authentication, security, and core account functionality. We may also use analytics cookies to understand product usage and improve user flows where permitted by law. Where prior consent is required, optional browser analytics are controlled by a separate cookie choice and are not accepted merely by creating an account. JRNEY also records limited account-scoped product events needed to operate, secure, and diagnose the Service. You can reopen the cookie control while it is available or contact support@jrney.aifor help with analytics preferences.

JRNEY provides AI-assisted resume building, auditing, optimization, and interview coaching tools. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or as indicated at checkout).
• Payments are processed by our payment provider or Merchant of Record, as identified at checkout. The payment provider may handle billing, invoicing, sales tax, VAT, refunds, and subscription management on our behalf.
• All fees are displayed at checkout in the currency and amount shown before you complete a purchase.
• For recurring plans, you authorize our payment provider to charge the payment method on file for each billing period until you cancel.
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect for existing subscribers.

The free tier offers limited functionality as described on the pricing page. Free-tier features may change at any time. The duration and scope of any one-time pass are those shown on the pricing page and at checkout when you purchase it.

The free audit shows a five-category score and the top blockers. A paid plan or pass may unlock additional audit details and the right to request AI generation, according to the scope shown on the pricing page and at checkout. When you request optimization, JRNEY generates a draft for your review.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be waived. Refund, cancellation, and withdrawal eligibility depends on applicable law, the purchased scope, and whether paid services have been used. See our Refund Policy.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period unless applicable law or the payment provider requires a different result.

• Your content.You retain full ownership of the resumes, text, and data you upload or create ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
• AI output. Content generated by our AI tools is provided for your personal, non-exclusive use. We do not claim ownership of AI-generated output.
• AI provider processing. We use User Content to provide the requested Service and do not independently repurpose it to train a JRNEY model. User Content may be processed by third-party AI providers under their applicable terms, settings, and data-processing commitments, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to generate false or misleading credentials.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Create accounts through automated means or operate multiple free accounts to circumvent limits.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any part of the Service without written consent.

All rights, title, and interest in the Service — including design, code, models, branding, and documentation — are owned by JRNEY or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or brand assets.

The Service may integrate with third-party providers (payment processors, AI APIs, analytics). Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or practices.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any specific purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JRNEY's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JRNEY and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

Applicable governing law and forum depend on the JRNEY contracting entity, your location, and mandatory consumer-protection rules. Nothing in these Terms removes protections or forums that applicable law makes non-waivable.
